0001On 11th January, 2024, National Law University Delhi hosted Mr. Sherif Saadallah, Executive Director, World Intellectual Property Organization Academy, along with Dr. Pushpendra Rai, Advisory Board, Centre for Innovation in Public Policy and Former IAS.
Discussions
0002The visit included discussions between the dignitaries and Prof. Dr. G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi, along with Dr. Yogesh Pai, Associate Professor, Co Director, CIIPC, IPR Chair, NLU Delhi.
0003The discussions focused on advancing intellectual property education, fostering global collaboration, and strengthening ties between the WIPO Academy and NLU Delhi.
Joint Masters and LL.M. Programme
0004The visit was also connected with the proposed Joint Masters and LL.M. in IP Law and Management, which was scheduled to be launched in August 2024. The programme was being developed pursuant to a tripartite MoU between National Law University Delhi, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Indian IP Office, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
