Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Free IPR Master Classes

0001Under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, DPIIT, the DPIIT IPR Chair and the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition, CIIPC, at NLU Delhi, in association with the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management, CIPAM, organised the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign from 25th November, 2021 to 15th August, 2022.

Objective

0002The campaign was aimed at reaching university and college students, particularly students from technical universities, colleges, and institutes, and providing them with a basic understanding of Intellectual Property Rights.

0003The campaign was undertaken in furtherance of the vision statement of the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal.

Master Classes

0004As part of the campaign, a series of Master Classes on Introduction to L2Pro India E Learning Platform for IPR Training and Awareness were organised to promote learning and awareness of intellectual property rights.

0005The L2Pro India E Learning Platform, developed through a joint collaboration between Qualcomm Inc., CIIPC at NLU Delhi, and CIPAM DPIIT, provides IPR training and awareness across three levels, namely Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.

0006The different levels include modules, interactive lessons, and assessments covering fundamental and practical aspects of intellectual property rights for students, innovators, startups, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs.

Virtual Sessions

0007The Master Classes were conducted virtually by the DPIIT IPR Chair at NLU Delhi. The sessions focused on the importance of IPR awareness and familiarised students with the L2Pro India Platform, Learn to Protect, Secure and Maximise Your Innovations.

0008Registration for the Master Classes was mandatory.
